Blessings and Beyond

Life can be so crazy sometimes. We all get so wrapped up in our life and what we have to get done for the day, and what we need to do for tomorrow, the end of the week, this month. It seems like there is always something that is occupying our time, our thoughts, and our hearts. Because of the hectic, always on the run, American lifestyle we live, it is not so easy for us to slow down and take a moment to be thankful for everything that life has to offer us and to appreciate all that we have. Not only are we busy and constantly going but we also seem to think then only think of the negative things that come about through life. But we all have so much to be thankful for. So I thought I'd take a moment to share just a few of my blessings.

My family and friends. They are always there to count on for a good laugh, advice, love, support really anything thing that I need. I know that without all of you life would be like much crazier and that much harder. Thanks so much for each and everyone of you! I was even blessed the last few weeks to see some friends who I haven't seen in such a long time. It was so good to catch up and see where are lives have taken us, but also good to know that we can still depend on each other and enjoy each other's company like we see each other every day.

My education. This is something that I have always taken for granted. I have always enjoyed school and grew up knowing how important education is. However, I was never really grateful for it. However, I have realized this last week how blessed I am to have had the education that I did. I have had so many great opportunities that have pushed me to be a better learner and to really grow mentally. I have seen some of the benefits this week from the great education that I have had and I now know how blessed I am to have had this opportunity. There are so many more things and people I am blessed to have in my life but far to many to list here. So I will leave you with a clip from White Christmas and Mr. Bing Crosby. Always remember to count your blessings. Bless you all.
